Mission
Our mission is to give children a strong foundation by preventing chronic malnutrition and promoting cognitive development in the first 1,000 days of life.
Vision
We envision a world where every child’s first 1,000 days ensure a happy, healthy, and productive life, free from malnutrition and rich in cognitive development opportunities.
What is a MindUp
A MindUp is a dedicated space run in partnership with local communities
where parents and caregivers can learn and support their child's growth
and development in an engaging, trusted and stimulating environment.
Trained MindUp Managers monitor adequate weight gain during pregnancy as
well as the growth and development of children under two and provide
personalized counseling.
They also host activities at the MindUp such as cooking classes and
climate-smart urban gardening. All MindUps are connected through the
Heights and Minds Global MindUp Network, where they have the opportunity
to share experiences and learn from each other.

Heights and Minds partnered with Pilar Tunas Nusa Lestari Foundation in October 2020 to launch Ruang Riung Ceria (RRC) MindUp in Rancaecek, Bandung Regency, Indonesia. RRC, which opened in January 2021, serves pregnant and lactating mothers, children under two, and teenagers, aiming to prevent stunting and promote child development.

The MindUp Tawfekh Keur Jaboot, located in Jaxaay, Senegal, was among the first initiatives launched by Heights and Minds, in partnership with Gouy Gui and the Conseil National de Développement de la Nutrition (CNDN). Since opening in January 2020, it has delivered essential services such as growth monitoring, personalized counseling, and daily meal demonstrations, empowering families to prepare affordable, nutritious meals at home with an emphasis on increasing fruit and vegetable intake.

The Pusat Anak Cerdas Ceria Selangor (CERDAS) MindUp, located in Puchong, was established through a partnership between Heights and Minds and the Selangor State Government under the Selangor Health Partnership (Selhep) Program. This MindUp focuses on preventing chronic malnutrition and promoting healthy child development during the critical first 1,000 days of life by empowering mothers and caregivers with knowledge and tools to raise healthy children. Opened in October 2023, CERDAS is a collaboration with the Welfare Department of Subang Jaya and Little Steps Foundation.

Heights and Minds is excited to announce the opening of its latest MindUp, Mahilla Center in New Delhi, India, in partnership with the Foundation for Equal Citizenship (FFEC) and its U.S. affiliate (FFEC USA). This new center aligns with the foundation's mission to empower communities by offering vital services aimed at improving maternal and childhood health and nutrition.
